Meet Spark!

Spark is our part time mascot, furry friend and companion. When you come to visit us, you may well meet Spark.  Until then, he has some words of advice, and would like to offer you our Info Tip and Special of the Month.

"Honesty, integrity and friendliness are three ways I would describe Hickman Automotive and their staff.

I found them several years and use their services for things I can't legally do myself (inspection) or jobs that I don't have time to do (head gasket).

Last year, they adjusted my valves and replaced the gaskets as part of the procedure. I noticed yesterday that two of the spark plug wells were leaking oil at the gasket seal. Thinking maybe the gaskets themselves were under warranty, I stopped by with my receipt and asked.

Within 20 minutes, I had a new set of gaskets under 1-year warranty, they offered to print out the installation diagrams and instructions (I am in a tinkering mood) and offered to give me pointers on installation. While we were looking at the car together, John noticed that the gaskets were not quite seated properly during the installation they performed, which I fully appreciate because it was difficult to keep everything lined up properly when I did my last Honda's gaskets.

Hickman Automotive is standing behind their original work and will do the complete replacement when my car is in for inspection next week, at no cost to me. THAT is quality service.

I have taken my Mitsubishi, two Hondas and a BMW to Hickman and will continue to go back, as well as recommend them to everyone I can. Keep up the great work Hickman family!"
